EMDR Basic Training
Cutter Roberts, LPC-Supervisor, an EMDRIA Approved Consultant and Training, now offers small-group EMDR Basic Training. EMDR Intensives
EMDR Intensives are a option for those wishing to address longstanding, intense, and/or high disruptive patterns of behavior, emotions, and thoughts in a consolidated period of time. Treatment typically entails 12-24 hours of EMDR therapy delivered across five to ten days. Research demonstrates the changes obtained in an EMDR Intensive are similar to those in standard treatment, but in a fraction of the time. We are happy to offer a free consultation to those interested in this service.

After a focused intake, EMDR processing will be used to target the underlying experiences and belief systems thought to be at the root of the client’s concerns. Following the intensive, we will focus on developing a plan for post-treatment care and how to maximize your gains.

Research has demonstrated that EMDR Intensives provide similar short and long-term benefits as standard (weekly) EMDR therapy, but in a consolidated timeframe. Intensives can also be tailored to address issues such as addiction, self-defeating behaviors, and phobias.

EMDR Intensives start at $175/hour and are typically booked in 3-4 hour blocks. Full-day intensives, consisting of 6.5 hours in a single day, are available for $1000/day.
